Creating functionality within a compact footprint was central to the design for Refinery Room Salon. Spatial efficiency was achieved through bespoke design interventions, including custom salon stations, integrated mirrors, and tailored lighting that enhance both task performance and the perception of space. These built‑in elements are precisely scaled and positioned to maximize workflow while maintaining visual clarity in a densely programmed interior. Designed storage solutions extend vertically, including a casework stair that leads to a mezzanine storage loft, thoughtfully leveraging every cubic foot of the salon’s volume. Light layering and reflective surfaces further expand the interior’s sense of openness, ensuring that the limited square footage feels disciplined yet welcoming.
